LR you are a violent individual and should seek help immediately! Stick a nice blade thru a taxi door...siss man! I only want to take a F250 with 8in pipe bumpers and shove one sideways from CT to Muzienberg and then right down into the sea...all the while cackling like a mad man!

Re: Bigger Fixed blade
I just recently purchased a crkt kommer ifb fixed blade (stunning), see it here ( http://www.sharpedge.co.za/index.php...emart&Itemid=4 )has a 97mm blade length and is 220mm total length, I am by no means a knife guy but I can't see myself ever needing more than this.

Re: Bigger Fixed blade
OK...HOW large is 'large'?
You guys probably can't get them there but the plain old Ontario Mil. Spec. Machete is a helluva blade for under $20 US. I have a Home Center panga in SA but it is nowhere NEAR the quality of the Ontarios I have at home.
I like the Cold Steel SRK a lot too. Great blade, good design and not too scary looking for the cops if they should check you out (hunting / survival blade don't cha know) . Becker...made by Ontario...also has some big, good quality and not too expensive blades. I almost bought one last week but had other, more important items to pick up.
I have an old Al Mar SF Bowie that is huge and a very wicked blade. It sure seems awful large to me to wave around inside the typical small car in SA.
None of these are double edged blades but they could all be reprofiled by a pro...just keep in mind that the reprofiling might cost as much as the original blade! (or more)
If you are already IN the car, you are driving a better weapon than any blade! JMORun Fast, Bite Hard!
