Homemade knives???

Hey Bokkie,

Hope you haven't been put off so far! Here's a pic of a neck knife I made my brother in law for Xmas a while back out of an old jewellery file.

Every thing harm said +100! You could also try using a grinder with a thin blade to make lots of narrow cuts around your profile and then break the strips off if you don't fancy all the drilling. A 1mm cutting disc works like a charm for this ;)

For finishes never under estimate the power of sand/bead blasting if you can get to use one, next knife I make will be finished this way!
