Rhinoman canopies
I am getting a Rhinoman aluminium canopy for my Hilux double cab.
I want to choose between the Rhino cab which is 40mm higher thant the bakkie cab and the Rhino lite which is same level as the bakkie cab.
Would like to hear some opinions?
I like the look of the lower one (the lite). is there anything I should be taking into account? is the one beter than the other?
thanks,

Re: Rhinoman canopies
I had a canvas canopy on my bakkie which was slightly higher than the cab. The fuel consumption increased markedly.
Although if you’re going to mount anything on top of the canopy, like a rooftop tent etc, the point becomes moot anyway.Sent electronically, thus not signed.

Re: Rhinoman canopies
I have the lite, which sits level with the vehicle. I prefer it over the normal one which sticks out. I guess it's personal preference but it just looks cleaner.

I also prefer the lite...
was just wondering how much space you lose with the lower one.
also it has any affect if you fit something ontop of the canopy (geuss not)
and maybe any other issues picked up with someone who used it before.

Re: Rhinoman canopies
I've never been left wanting for space. I think if I had to fill my Bakkie to the point of not having enough space I'd have to load more than my possessions.
I have not had any issues at all with the canopy. The only issue I had was they supplied one with a rear window when I asked for one without. But now that I have it I don't mind it.
I have low mounted roof racks on the canopy, and they protrude enough that my fishing ski doesn't touch the roof of the vehicle.
