    Default 4279y/3913m hit

    The past weekend it was the Send-IT ELR 2mile challenge at Matroosberg Skietklub. After the match, it seems they had a bragging rights competition. 5 shots each at 3611m and 3913m. Pieter Eksteen connected on the 3913m target on his second shot. I've met and shot with Pieter, one of the nicest people you will ever meet!

    Rifle and equipment used as posted by Pieter:
    Victrix Tormentum 375 Cheytac (Original 30" 10 twist barrel replaced with a Bartlein 36" in 7 twist). About 600 rounds through barrel.
    Bixn-Andy trigger.
    Longshot ABR.
    Accutac Hydraulic bipod.
    NF BEAST Scope. 2x NF 99Moa Prisms. Elevation 292 MOA. Wind 14 MOA (L).
    AB Phone App with Kestrel 5700X.
    400gr Cutting Edge Lazers at 3030fps using VV 24N41
    TOF = 9.81sec.
    Speed at Target = 839 fps
    Energy at Target = 625 ft-lbs
    Target size (H) = 1.54 Moa
    Target size (W) = 2.24 Moa

    Apart from the impressive hit, there is more money in that rifle than I make in a year.

    PLEASE tell me there's video of this happening? That's crazy!

    Also, I love how that scope is so elevated it looks like it's aiming at the muzzle brake :D

    I used to watch a youchoob couple from Oz who made hit of that sort. Think it was called Mark and Sam after work. The flight times did my head in asuch as the distance at which their hits were made.

    I still watch Mark & Sam, sadly their new legislation forced them to get rid of a bunch of their kit. Mark has a lot of views on stuff I don't agree with, but at least it's entertaining to an extent..
