Has anyone used this or heard of it. Any views?

Re: Barrel mounted, Electromagnetic Chronograph
I just got one today... :-)
Testing can only happen once when good weather in the Cape coincides with a weekend I'm not away...
Can confirm it does not pick up shots from my Gamo CFX, I think it's a combination of low signal due to small lead bullet, and the CFX's large plastic 'front sight mount thing' not allowing the sensors close enough to the bullet path :-(
Reports from the US seems very positive.

Pirate please post a feedback once you have properly tested it. Did you buy it locally and if I may ask, how much?

Re: Barrel mounted, Electromagnetic Chronograph
There is a disadvantage though with this piece of equipment, is that it will only work with FA that have fixed barrels. Pistols with slide frames will not work.

Re: Barrel mounted, Electromagnetic Chronograph
Nope, colleague picked up one for each of us whilst in the US last week. Paid as advertised on the website plus tax, shipping, handling etc.
Been eyeing it since the original RealGuns article, and said colleague's been in contact with them ever since.
Review will be posted soos as the weather allows :-/

Re: Barrel mounted, Electromagnetic Chronograph
Yousuf, eish....
Previous weekend: Major storms in the Cape = no shooting
This past weekend: Great weather in the Cape, Pirate in North West = No shooting
Coming weekend: Big storms forecast in the Cape = No shooting
Weekend after that: most probably great weather in the Cape, Pirate in Durban = No shooting
You'll see the pattern....!
