    I don't know about gun solution, but you get different solutions for different metals and goals. Search one that'll work with the finish/metal on your gun!

    Thus far I have successfully cleaned all my handguns and all the bolts from all my rifles in my ultrasonic cleaner using 100% plain old parafine.

    You would be amazed at the amount of black gunk and residue coming out of crevices and slots where you would normally not be able to clean.
