    Anyone know if attaching a shoulder stock to a handgun legal? Seems to be.

    This is a gray area. In the USA it’s federal law not to attach a stock to a barrel shorter than 16 inch. It’s written on the recoil pad of my TC stock.

    I suppose it’s to prevent you from putting your hand over or to close to the mussel. On the other hand the Broom handle Mausers was build like that.

    It boils back to own responsibility.

    it's because of the NFA of the 30s that requires registratio. Of short barrel rifles and shotguns.
