.270 Musgrave (Best all round bullet)

Hi to all!!! (I'm new)

I got a .270 Musgrave as a present, it is an old model about 1974 with a long barrel. I would like some advise on what rounds (all rounder bullet) is the best to use on my 270. Msgv for best grouping. I don't reload and will be using factory loads.

I will be testing and will make a video for all to view.

If its a 1974 model - in fire arm terms it ain't old. Perhaps some of the guys will share their girlfriends ages . I got 3 1940 odd rifles - all perfect. The only way to answer your question is to shoot the test ammo and see what it does. Remember millions of pmp rounds have been shot very successfully for a long time, so local is a starting point.

The pmp pro am is not bad at all. We got nice groupings all below an inch at 100 meter with a friends sako. The pro am bullet is also a bit tougher than the regular brown box, so you can expect decent penetration

Try the 150 gr And the 130gr, maybe your rifle has preference to either of the weights.

Lets be realistic - go to Gun shop - ask what .270 ammo they have, if they have any , try it and if it works buy as much as you can afford. Where you get of " what ammo ?", where you think you living ?.
