In a previous thread someone had mentioned that he'd had his knife sharpened by Neels van den Berg, Bladesmith & Custom Knifemaker from Black Dragon Forge in Pretoria.
I emailed him over the weekend to check if he still does sharpening and he confirmed that he does. His price is R50 per blade for general sharpening.
I'm just not sure which part of Pretoria he is in, but I'll ask him to sharpen a blade for me this week and can confirm the area then.
His contact details are on his website: www.blackdragonforge.co.zaLast edited by TheFogg; 09-11-2015 at 07:10.

Re: Knife sharpening CT
Personally for home use I would get a lansky or Gatco. All my knives are sharpened with a Gatco and they are razor sharp. Without stepping on toes(hopefully). I am making knives now and I find that these sharpeners give me great control and consistency. It takes longer but there is no way I can overheat the edge and damage it. My 2c

Re: Knife sharpening CT
Don't get a sharpener. Then you will always have an excuse to get new blades when the "old" ones get blunt? ;)
