Disarmament by stealth, just make the waiting period so long that you get hit by Alzheimer and forgot that you actually bought a firearm. It takes more than a year from handing in the application until you actually can collect the firearm, and the covid excuse is just that: an excuse.

Apparently cards till end Oct were printed. I'm hoping they keep printing as mine was 3 Nov. A bit frustrated and irratated. This whole expired license causing such a story with ballistics and licensing and urghhhhh.

According to SAPS, cards until end Nov were printed.
