Putting It on a Pedestal. (Picture heavy)
I got my buffalo trophy back from the taxidermist a couple of months ago. It was mounted to be displayed on a pedestal, which I decided I would make myself. Due to a lack of free time, we have a lot of hunters this year, it has been lying in my spare room wrapped in bubble wrap.
I had various ideas on how to manufacture the pedestal but settled on mounting it on a wine barrel. I managed to find a barrel, though it was a whiskey barrel, recently and over the weekend put the buffalo on a pedestal. It now resides in one of our hunting lodges.

Just shows you how big a buffalo is compared to a barrel. Its huge!!! Does the buffalo topple over when you have finished all the whisky in the barrel?

It looks very good T, job well done.
Buffalo are strange things, if you only show the head and neck then it looks like the animal is something massive, but they are not, only in stories are they massive in real life they are rather small.
